Overview

Metabolon is seeking a Director of Global HR Operations to oversee the implementation and administration of compensation, benefits, HRIS programs, and compliance initiatives across the organization. This global operations role ensures that all programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives, supporting employee engagement and retention in the Life Sciences industry.

 

This role will work a hybrid schedule (Tues - Thurs in office) from our RTP, NC location.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and oversee global compensation strategies, salary structures, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead the administration of global employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as overseeing such policies for international sites.
  • Manage HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and effective reporting for decision-making.
  • Manage Performance Management System, (Lattice); as well as managing annual code of ethics/conduct program.
  • Advise senior leadership on compensation and benefits trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Oversee vendor relationships for benefits, payroll and HRIS platforms, including contract negotiation and performance management.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and benefits deductions in collaboration with Finance.
  • In collaboration with the Global HR Director, design and deliver employee communications regarding compensation, payroll (ADP), benefits, and HRIS updates.
  • Monitor and analyze compensation and benefits metrics, preparing reports for executive leadership.
  • Lead compliance efforts for EEO-1, AAP, FMLA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Resolve complex employee inquiries and issues related to compensation, benefits, and HRIS.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in people operations.
  • Contribute to employee engagement efforts, including the culture committee.
  • Work closely with HR team members in order to elevate HR function at all levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Global HR function.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive HR Operations experience.
  • Deep expertise in HR Operations (compensation, wellness-benefits administration, ADP-payroll, including plan design and compliance).
  • Advanced project management skills and knowledge of HRIS systems and data management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with the ability to anticipate and address needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Excel, HRIS platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in Life Sciences industry a plus.
