Metabolon is seeking a Bioinformatics Developer to join our Integrated Bioinformatics Platform team. This role sits at the intersection of bioinformatics, software engineering, and analytics platform development.
You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of Metabolon’s analytics platforms and related bioinformatics applications. The ideal candidate understands the underlying biological and computational algorithms while also being capable of building robust, production-ready web applications and scalable data workflows.
This position is well-suited to someone who enjoys translating complex biological data into actionable insights through well-designed software systems and modern engineering practices. Experience leveraging AI and generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance analytics workflows is highly valued.
This is a remote role with a preference for candidates located in Ireland or the UK
