Overview

The Senior Global Marketing Manager is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing global marketing campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and customer engagement across Metabolon's expanding portfolio. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Digital Marketing, Sales, and scientific leadership, to deliver integrated marketing campaigns, go-to-market strategies, content initiatives, and digital programs that fuel growth. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in B2B commercial marketing, demand generation, and campaign execution, combined with a strong understanding of digital channels, marketing automation, and customer lifecycle engagement.

Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership
• Create and execute global marketing strategies that drive awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
• Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead account-based marketing (ABM) programs to strengthen relationships with strategic accounts and key market segments.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Operations to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution and audience alignment.

Campaign Development & Demand Generation
• Design, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, web, email, and social channels.
• Create and manage compelling content and creative assets that nurture leads through the buyer's journey.
• Leverage AI-driven tools for predictive analytics, content generation, and personalization to enhance campaign performance and scalability.
• Manage Metabolon.com webinars and gated resources to maximize reach, engagement, and database growth.

Marketing Communications & Events
• Manage the global event calendar, including major tradeshows, webinars, and customer events.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform ongoing strategy refinement.

 

Performance Analytics & Optimization
• Define and report on KPIs that demonstrate marketing impact on pipeline and revenue.
• Continuously evaluate campaign ROI and funnel metrics to drive efficiency and conversion improvement.
• Employ A/B testing, CRO, and performance dashboards to ensure sustained growth.
• Identify opportunities for process and channel optimization across the marketing ecosystem.

 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Support annual marketing planning, budgeting, and voice-of-customer (VOC) initiatives.
• Stay current on emerging digital, AI, and life sciences marketing innovations.
• Bridge marketing, science, and sales functions by translating complex biological insights into accessible, value-driven messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with preference in Marketing or Life Sciences related disciplines; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial or demand generation marketing in a B2B environment, with a background in market research and competitive analysis, preferably within life sciences, biotechnology, or health technology.
• Experience managing multi-channel programs, including email marketing, paid search (PPC), SEO, web content, and social media.
• Experience managing lead funnels and campaign attribution.
• Proven success in developing and executing global marketing campaigns that drive measurable demand and lead generation.
• Strong understanding of lead management, marketing attribution, and pipeline acceleration strategies.
• Proficiency with marketing automation systems (Marketo) and CRM platforms (Salesforce). Superuser experience is desirable.
• Excellent project management, organization, and multitasking capabilities. Experience with Notion preferred.
• Experience with HTML, SEO, PPC, and digital marketing channel optimization.
• Experience working with wordpress.org CMS preferred.
• Familiarity with AI marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, SurferSEO, 6sense) and predictive analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific and technical information in simple, engaging ways.
• A team-oriented mindset with demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration.
