Business Intelligence Intern – UI/UX

As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will cross-functionally collaborate with members of our sales, marketing, sales operations, corporate development, bioinformatics, and finance teams to enhance and iterate on Tableau dashboards. This position will help refine existing dashboards and contribute to new features, ensuring they are functional, visually appealing, and aligned with user needs. This role offers hands-on experience in data visualization, reporting, and analytics using Tableau and other BI tools.

This is a part-time internship that will provide hands-on experience with real-world projects and impactful dashboard improvements, mentorship from experienced professionals in the field, and a flexible and supportive work environment.

• Assist in enhancing and optimizing existing Tableau dashboards based on internal team feedback and performance metrics.
• Test and validate dashboard functionalities to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Implement iterative design improvements based on analytical insights and internal requirements.
• Develop and document best practices for dashboard enhancements and data visualization techniques.

• Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. A combination of education and experience administrating BI tools may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of backend data structures and their impact on visualization performance.
• General knowledge of B2B sales pipelines.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce Analytics / Einstein Analytics is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
