Metabolon is seeking an experienced and driven Principal Research Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will apply your expertise in LC-MS methodologies and biochemical research to design and execute innovative studies. Your work will focus on advancing programs from concept through clinical proof-of-mechanism by developing targeted assays that explore pathway mechanisms, biochemical processes, and target engagement strategies. You will lead research efforts to identify new technologies, optimize assay performance, and translate discoveries into development candidates. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in LC-MS applications, a deep understanding of mechanism of action studies, and a track record of driving programs from early discovery through candidate nomination. This is an exempt position working on-site at our RTP facility Monday through Friday.
